Ice Clock 3D Screensaver 2.0 build 6

The 3PlaneSoft-developed application Ice Clock 3D Screensaver, as its name so adequately points out, is a screensaver. This means that when your computer goes idle, Ice Clock 3D Screensaver will pop up and do its job. It’s job is to display a good looking ice clock on your desktop. The clock is made from the ice formed on top of a flowing winter creek. The ice is cracked a bit so that you can see the water flowing underneath. From time to time you may even see a fish swim by.

Ice Clock 3D Screensaver also works as an animated wallpaper. The application will turn your boring old static wallpaper into a dynamic, moving wallpaper. The wallpaper will display everything I just mentioned above – it’s like having a screensaver run in the background as your wallpaper.

Speaking of running in the background, Ice Clock 3D Screensaver plays music and sounds in the background. Ice Clock 3D Screensaver will also play a chime at regular intervals of time - every 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes. You can disable the sounds, music and/or chimes from the application’s Settings window. Or you can simply press the M key on the keyboard while the application is running and this will mute everything.

Installation – at the time of writing this, support is provided for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit editions). During the installation process you can choose between these languages: English, German, French and Russian.

During the installation process you are asked to install the 3Planesoft Screensaver Manager. This manager provides information about your currently installed 3PlaneSoft screensaver and about other screensaver 3PlaneSoft has to offer. The manager allows you to access the settings of all the 3PlaneSoft screensavers installed on your system. It also comes with a feature to automatically change the screensaver after a specific amount of time, or to display a different screensaver each time the computer goes idle. This manager is quite useful if you have more than one 3PlaneSoft screensaver.

Limitations – a nag screen will appear after 90 seconds when using the trial version. To get rid of this nag screen you have to purchase a license.
